StoreVault, a NetApp division, was formed in 2006 to focus specifically on the Small-to-Medium sized business (SMB) market segment. StoreVault is also the name of its line of network storage solutions tailored for SMB customers and its SMB channel partner programme.
With the introduction of StoreVault, NetApp addresses a wide range of customers and needs from high-end enterprise to the midrange and now SMB. SMB customers today have major pain points around data protection and recovery, and the NetApp enterprise-proven storage technologies offer unique ways to solve these customer problems.
